Der Datensatz umfasst die von der Mediaprojekt GmbH mit der Software Blender erstellte dreidimensionale Nachmodellierung der für die Bundesgartenschau 2031 in Wuppertal geplanten Hängebrücke in hoher und niedriger Kompression, jeweils in einem nicht georeferenzierten lokalen Koordinatensystem. Beide Kompressionsstufen umfassen die vollständige Brückenkonstruktion einschließlich aller Kabel, Stützen, Geländer, Laufflächen, Halterungen und Verbindungselemente. Die Nachmodellierung erfolgte anhand von Planungen und Bildern (RMP Stephan Lenzen Landschaftsarchitekten / hochkant GmbH) aus der in 2021 durchgeführten Machbarkeitsstudie zu einer Hängebrücke zwischen der Kaiserhöhe und Königshöhe im Stadtbezirk Elberfeld-West. Ergänzend wurden Geodaten der Stadt Wuppertal verwendet. Die als Open Data unter der Lizenz CC BY 4.0 bereitgestellten GLB-Dateien enthalten lokale Koordinaten, die zur Einbindung in Geoinformationssysteme in ein geodätisches Bezugssystem transformiert werden müssen.

Zusätzlich enthält der Datensatz VR-Anwendungen zur Visualisierung der Hängebrücke in VR-Brillen vom Typ PICO 4 und Meta Quest 3 sowie ein Web-VR-Projekt im HTML-Format, das für Nutzerinnen und Nutzer erzeugt wurde, die keinen Zugriff auf VR-Systeme, Geoinformationssysteme oder 3D-Grafiksoftware haben.
