Der Datensatz zeigt die komplette Fläche der kreisfreien Stadt Köln. Die interkommunale Gliederung wird durch die Kommunale Gebietsgliederung repräsentiert. Dieses hierarchische System gliedert das Stadtgebiet auf verschiedenen Ebenen in eine Stadtstruktur und Blockstruktur. Weitere Bestandteile sind eine Straßenstruktur und Adressen.
